Well it's no secret at all that I truly love EPP and that I truly love the hexagon. A while ago I saw a lovely antique quilt on Pinterest that had hexagons arranged in an elongated grandmothers flower shape. I loved how it looked so I decided to start making some and see where it took me.

I have been working hard on some projects. The yarn eater afghan is coming along nicely.

I saw my first picture of the Beekeepers Quilt in a Mollie Makes Magazine about two years ago. I think it was two years ago because it feels like that, but I can't be sure. I was taken by the knitted hexagons all stitched together into a quilt. It spoke to me but I did nothing about trying to find the pattern. Pictures pop up every now and then on Pinterest and again I admire it so much. Well I now have the pattern worked out and I have made a few of them. You can add little pictures to the hexagons by means of Swiss Darning. I will do some with pictures.
