The building of tiny houses is still going strong. It is such a fun project to do. Now that I am collecting quiet a few of them, I can see that the quilt is going to be so very pretty. It is going to be so colorful and bright. I am done the center panel of the quilt except for the central large house. The big house is stressing me out a tad! Not sure what fabrics to use!!! I need to get it done so that I can work on completing that middle section.
I had to print out more Foundation Papers!!! Always a good thing as well as a sign of progress.
Lastly, let me leave you with a picture of a Texas Sunset!!! We get to enjoy such pretty ones every now and then. This one was so pink (or salmon), with blues and several shades of gray.
Thank you for stopping by and hoping you are having a good day.

What's Old is New Again!!!
OK, I am embarrassed to actually put this photo on my blog. How did my ironing board surface become so absolutely tacky and grungy? The funny thing is you don't notice it slowly becoming uglier and uglier, until you look at it and it hits you like a ton of bricks! You stand back and announce to your husband, "My ironing board is hideous. We will recover it this weekend"!!!
So that is exactly what we did. I bought this printed canvas fabric about six months ago for the ironing board. So hubby and I got the tools out, and took the ironing board outside. Took about half and hour to replace the cover.
We put new cotton batting under the cute fabric. So very much better!! We went one step further and bought new rubber guards for the legs, so she has new shoes too. The frame got a good wipe down and now I am excited about my ironing board once again. Isn't she lovely?
