Crocheted Hexagons!

Remember this hexagon blanket?  Well it got put onto the back burner a while ago.  Other projects kind of took over.  I dug it out a few days ago and added a few more hexagons to it.

It is coming along nicely and looks so cheery!  I love all the different colors - just about as much as I love the hexagon shape!

Another Sweet and Simple Block Done!

Hello!  Here is another block from the Sweet and Simple quilt pattern.  I am so enjoying the applique process.  I love how every block is so different from the previous one.  It stops one from becoming bored.  I love the colors in this block!

I really love bunnies!  This block is all about spring, with the tulip and bunny.

Sweet and Simple

 Hello fabulous readers!  Thank you for stopping by to see my Sweet and Simple needle turn appliqué blocks.

 I fell in love with this pattern by Geoff's Mom.  It really is sweet.  Simple images which conjure up happy times.

 Really fun to make too.

This is my first large needle turn appliqué quilt.  It has thirty blocks!  I am really enjoying the process.  As each block has a different picture, I find myself inspired to move from one to the next - progress.  I have six blocks done.

A Bee and a Hexagon!

I have been looking for a stamp of a bee for the center of a hexagon! No luck though! Only juvenile style bees to be had! I am looking for a naturalist style. So the only thing left to do was to draw and embroider them. This is the result.

Tripping

I feel like I am a million miles behind the rest of the trippers! Been running like mad to catch that bandwagon! Here are my first four blocks! I have a substantial collection of 30's fabrics, so I decided to use those!

A St. Patrick's Day Center Piece

I apologize for my loooong absence. It is not because I have not been sewing! In fact I have been sewing rather A LOT! I just have not finished many things at all! That is until today! I had to make haste because St Patricks day is this coming week! Had to make something green! Here it is.... DONE!
