I have had some time on my hands this weekend! Why is that you may ask. Well two of my three kids living at home have left for college. I have only one child at home and only for a week. He leaves on Friday. Well I felt like playing with fabric. Don't you know, I just started TWO new quilts. I should not even have started one, never mind two!!!! So now my UFO list is not as improved as I thought it was getting to be. I did have FUN though. Life is just way too short not to have some fun every now and then. Let me show you what I have done.
Firstly the new Quilt Magazine arrived this week and there are two gorgeous foundation paper piecing patterns inside. The one is a Christmas Quilt which is so pretty and was just calling out to me to make it! The second is also a FPP project but that one will have to wait a while.
Here is a picture from the Quilt magazine.
Isn't it absolutely lovely! The third picture is of my first block! Only fifteen left to go and let me tell you it was a boatload of stitching and trimming and pressing. It was fun though. Well, that is project number one. I will show you project number two tomorrow when I get a bit more of it done. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great week.
Oh I love it - I can see why you found it irrestible!! Have fun :-)
