A Mug Rug

I had designed a mug rug for the shop a while back and they had all sold out.  So I had to put the thinking cap back on and come up with a new pattern and design.   Here is my little pile of fabric.

Got to have some English Paper Piecing in the design.

A Rosette would be just fine.

Quilt sandwich ready for some quilting.

And voila! A brand new sample for a kit is done.  I love the fabric with the little birds.  Fall-ish colors too, don't you think.  Perfect for a cup of tea!
